Washington is the Up and Coming Program
It wasn’t coincidence that when Steve Saraksian got to Washington they started winning. An ex-offensive coordinator for USC a few years back knows how to win and that is the exact medicine that Washington needs.
Playing Time as a Freshman
Sione Potoae, Defensive Tackle: Possible/Definite: From Lakewood, Washington, Potoae stands at 6’3 285 and has solid speed for a DT (4.9 40 time). He has great opportunity to have substantial playing time as Steve Sarkisian gets more of his type of recruits.
Erik Kohler, Offensive Guard: Possible/Definite: From southern California, Erik Kohler has great size and speed, 6’5 285, 4.9 40 time. He definitely has a great opportunity to come in and be an impact player for Washington right away. He has the body of a college player which will be easier for him to have a shot at starting.
Possible Prospect to Sign on Signing Day with Washington
Kirifi Taula: A solid 6’2 280 pound defensive tackle. He is technically a soft verbal at Arizona, but I believe Washington has a great shot. With Washington already taking 2 defensive tackles I just don’t see them getting a 3rd. Arizona is in desperate need for a DT, so I think he picks Arizona.
My Pick: Arizona
