Star Wars Coming to Blu-Ray This September
The moment that we have all been waiting for is finally here, people…the Star Wars Saga will finally be available in all its high-definition glory this September. Twentieth-Century Fox and Lucasfilm officially announced the release of Star Wars on Blu Ray at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
There will be three different sets of the Blu-Rays. There will be a three-disc set that of the original trilogy, and a three-disc set of the prequels. But every Star Wars fan will be purchasing the complete saga on a nine-disc set that includes all six films and more than 30 hours of special features. New special features include never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more.
The three disc sets of each trilogy are each priced at $69.99, while the compete saga will cost you $139.99. The products are already available for pre-order, so go to Amazon.com and reserve your copy of Star Wars on Blu-Ray…because I already did. This is, quite possibly, the greatest day ever.
