MTV Movie Awards Showcases New ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Footage

The talented and lovely director Christopher Nolan graced attendees of the MTV Movie Awards (I know…I also did not know it was on tonight) with his presence tonight. And he did not come empty-handed. It’s going to be tough to find this footage online (for now), but Gawker currently has a video posted on its site. It is chilling footage that gives Anne Hathaway an opportunity to prove that she deserves to don the catsuit, and the actress does not disappoint. The video also sets up a menacing Bane (what looks to be a stellar performance by Tom Hardy), who should be feared by all, according to Selina Kyle. Only 47 more days people…47 long days.
The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard, hits theaters July 20.
