Certainly, A Clockwork Orange is a good rainy day film, why wouldnt it be? It even has several great rain sequences in it, and Alex performs his infamous cover version of “Singin in the Rain”. Personally, I love rain, so I think a rainy film would go good with the ambience of the weather. Glengarry Glen Ross, Magnolia, Sorcerer, Blade Runner, those are all good rainy films. So I guess it depends on whether you like rain or not. If you dont, then watch a good sunny beach film and buy a tanning lamp, lol.

If the Dodgers don’t find another TV announcer who knows how to enunciate and actually call the plays like Vin Scully does, I will not be watching them once Vinnie finally retires. And I don’t think I’m alone with this opinion. Is it too much to ask that only ONE person announce rather than all the yap, yap, yap going on between their two announcers for out-of-town games? They put me to sleep, and I pretty often don’t even know what they’re talking about.

Thanks Tony for the positive feedback, but I am guessing you are talking about “Signing Day”. If so, I predicted before the actually signing day of what players that were on the fence about which school to pick. I believed the best available candidate for Penn State was Michael Thornton…He had his last 2 choices down to Penn State and Georgia. I felt he was going to pick Georgia based on the research I did through various sites. And in the end Thornton did choose Georgia.

This is garbage. We had a nice two or three film streak with Anne Hathaway ripping the shirt off (clearly rebelling from Julie Andrews’ reign in the Princess Diaries). Now we get subjected to Love and Other Drugs and her being confined by a latex suit. Sure, some guys might like that. But more than her showing the Golden Globes? Sad day to be an Anne Hathaway fan. Sad day indeed.

Ahhh! It was great finally be able to hear about Dexter now that I’ve caught up on all seasons! I do agree that Julia Stiles is sometimes way too much and super annoying, but she has grown on me this season. You guys are right – Debra Morgan def needs to lose weight and it’s great FINALLLYYY seeing Dexter have real emotion for what feels like the first time ever in five freaking seasons. I also think it’s interesting how he seems to forget the Rita was also raped and very much like Julia Stiles character, except better – she had to deal with two kids.
