‘Batman 3′ Titled ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Christmas really does come early for fans of Christopher Nolan. The director revealed the title to his third Batman film in an interview with The Los Angeles Times. The film is titled The Dark Knight Rises…now that is one sexy title.
Nolan also told The Los Angeles Times how glad he was to win his case against 3D. He convinced Warner Bros. to opt for high definition IMAX instead of jumping on the 3D bandwagon, as most future comic book films have already done.
With the recent signing of Tom Hardy, rumors swirled as to what his role in the film would be. Well, fanboys now know which villain to eliminate from their list: “It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan told The Los Angeles Times.
I must admit, I did cringe and cry on the inside reading that quote. The Riddler would have been a perfect villain for a psychological, intelligent director such as Nolan. So which villain will Nolan go with? Can he bring back Harvey Dent? Aaron Eckhart was a great Two-Face…and I loved his yelling in the film (RACHEL! SAY IT!). Catwoman? Bane? Maybe we’ll see a new villain out to attack not only Batman, but Bruce Wayne as well…such as Black Mask?
This is just too much to take for a Wednesday morning…damnit, Nolan!

I seriously LOVE the fact that he’s not doing 3D. I’m soooo over that whole thing. So surprised that the next villain won’t be the Riddler!
