As manly as I appear (let me think it, people), I have a number of irrational fears. I can thank horror films for developing my coulrophobia, thalassophobia, ornithophobia (look them up) and fear of supernatural entities. Here’s a list of films that scared the hell out of me (and continue to do so).

‘Dredd’ Review
After the debacle that was 1995’s Judge Dredd, who in their right mind would want to revisit the character and give the judge another film? ‘The Master’ Review
Much like the belief system in the film (which may or may not have been loosely based on Scientology), The Master is not for everyone. Actually, it’s not for a general audience, but then again, which Paul Thomas Anderson movie is? The talented writer/director’s latest effort may not be as refined but just as effective [...]
Most Anticipated Movies this Fall
After nine months of films featuring a team of earth-saving superheroes, a man bare-knuckle boxing with a wolf, teens killing other teens, and a muffled masked man breaking backs, it’s time to settle down because (cue Martin Lawrence voice) shit is about to get real. Summer blockbusters have come and gone, but now come the [...]
